Elsewhere, by Beata is an independent travel advisory operated by Beata Ptaszynska. Elsewhere provides travel recommendations, itinerary planning, booking support, coordination, and related advisory services.

Elsewhere operates independently as an affiliate of Fora Travel. Fora Travel, travel suppliers, booking platforms, and other third parties are separate entities and may impose their own terms, conditions, privacy practices, payment requirements, and cancellation policies.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to engage Elsewhere’s services.

Travel arrangements for minors must be requested and authorized by a parent, legal guardian, or other responsible adult with legal authority to act on the minor’s behalf.

These Terms govern use of the Elsewhere website and provide general conditions applicable to Elsewhere’s services.

A separate client agreement, proposal, invoice, planning-fee confirmation, booking authorization, supplier agreement, or other written communication may contain additional or more specific terms.

If there is a conflict between these Terms and a more specific written agreement governing a particular engagement or booking, the more specific written agreement will control.

Elsewhere provides professional travel advice, research, recommendations, itinerary development, coordination, booking assistance, and related services according to the scope agreed with each client.

The specific services included in an engagement may vary depending on the selected service, trip complexity, destination, timing, supplier availability, planning fee, and written scope.

Not every request, destination, booking type, supplier, or travel component can be accommodated.

Elsewhere assists with travel planning, recommendations, coordination, and bookings but does not own, operate, manage, or control hotels, resorts, cruise lines, airlines, tour operators, transportation companies, restaurants, guides, destination-management companies, insurance providers, or other third-party suppliers.

Each supplier is independently responsible for its services, personnel, facilities, schedules, policies, acts, omissions, representations, and performance.

Supplier terms and conditions apply to each booking and may include separate rules relating to:

• Deposits
• Final payments
• Cancellations
• Changes
• Refunds
• Credits
• No-shows
• Baggage
• Check-in and boarding
• Conduct
• Health and safety
• Documentation
• Liability

Travelers are responsible for reviewing and accepting all applicable supplier terms.

Recommendations are based on the information available at the time, the traveler’s stated preferences, professional judgment, supplier information, and available booking channels.

Elsewhere does not guarantee:

• Availability
• Pricing
• Upgrades
• Amenities
• Property credits
• Specific rooms, suites, cabins, tables, or seating
• Restaurant reservations
• Supplier exceptions
• Special-request fulfillment
• Entry into a destination
• Weather or destination conditions
• A particular travel experience or outcome

Preferred benefits, amenities, upgrades, credits, and other added-value elements vary by supplier, property, sailing, rate, booking type, and availability.

Planning fees compensate Elsewhere for professional time, research, judgment, itinerary development, recommendations, coordination, and related services.

The applicable planning fee, service scope, and payment requirements will be disclosed before paid planning begins.

Unless otherwise stated in writing, planning fees become nonrefundable once Elsewhere begins work.

A planning fee is separate from the cost of hotels, cruises, airfare, tours, transfers, insurance, supplier deposits, and other travel services.

Requests outside the original scope, substantial changes, additional revisions, cancellations, rebooking work, or post-confirmation modifications may require an additional service fee. Any additional fee will be disclosed before the additional work proceeds.

No booking is confirmed until:

• The traveler has reviewed and approved the relevant details
• Any required payment or deposit has been completed
• The applicable supplier or authorized booking platform has issued confirmation

Prices, fares, rates, inventory, and availability may change until the booking is completed.

Travelers are responsible for reviewing and approving:

• Legal names
• Dates
• Destinations
• Routes
• Room or cabin categories
• Occupancy
• Pricing
• Payment deadlines
• Cancellation terms
• Other material booking details

Authorization may be provided by email, electronic signature, checkbox acceptance, written approval, payment, or another method reasonably accepted by Elsewhere.

Payments for travel services may be made directly to Fora Travel, the applicable supplier, an insurance provider, or another authorized booking platform.

Elsewhere does not directly collect, store, or process payment-card information through this website.

Supplier payments are governed by the supplier’s payment, cancellation, refund, and chargeback policies.

Any billing concern or payment dispute should be raised promptly so the matter can be reviewed with the relevant supplier, platform, or payment processor.

Travelers are responsible for:

• Providing complete and accurate traveler information
• Reviewing all proposals, confirmations, invoices, names, dates, and itinerary details
• Meeting payment, check-in, boarding, and supplier deadlines
• Maintaining valid passports, visas, permits, authorizations, and other required documents
• Confirming entry, transit, health, vaccination, and documentation requirements
• Following applicable laws, government rules, supplier policies, and destination requirements
• Arriving on time for flights, cruises, transfers, tours, and other confirmed services
• Disclosing accessibility, mobility, dietary, medical, or other relevant needs sufficiently in advance
• Obtaining appropriate professional guidance concerning legal, medical, health, immigration, financial, or safety matters
• Monitoring government advisories and destination conditions

Elsewhere may assist with general information or coordination but does not assume responsibility for matters that remain within the traveler’s control.

Entry, transit, visa, passport, vaccination, health, immigration, and customs requirements vary by traveler, nationality, residence, destination, and routing and may change without notice.

Travelers are solely responsible for confirming and satisfying all applicable requirements with the appropriate government authorities and qualified professionals.

Information provided by Elsewhere concerning these matters is general and should not be treated as legal, medical, immigration, or governmental advice.

Elsewhere is not responsible for denied boarding, denied entry, missed travel, detention, fines, additional expenses, or other losses resulting from incomplete, incorrect, expired, or insufficient documentation.

Elsewhere strongly recommends that travelers consider appropriate travel insurance.

Insurance may provide protection for certain covered events, including cancellation, interruption, delay, medical emergencies, evacuation, baggage loss, supplier default, or other covered losses.

Coverage, eligibility, exclusions, limits, claim decisions, and reimbursement are controlled exclusively by the insurance provider and the terms of the specific policy.

Elsewhere does not guarantee that any insurance claim will be approved or paid.

A traveler who declines offered insurance may be asked to confirm that decision in writing.

Supplier deposits, fares, rates, and booking payments are subject to the applicable supplier’s cancellation, refund, credit, rebooking, and change policies.

Elsewhere does not control supplier refund decisions and does not guarantee that a supplier will approve a refund, waiver, credit, exception, or reimbursement.

Planning fees are separate from supplier payments and remain subject to Elsewhere’s own planning-fee terms.

Changes, cancellations, or rebooking work may require additional professional time and may result in an additional fee disclosed before that work proceeds.

Elsewhere is not responsible for delay, interruption, cancellation, loss, damage, additional expense, or inconvenience caused by circumstances outside Elsewhere’s reasonable control, including:

• Supplier cancellations or service failures
• Airline or cruise schedule changes
• Overbooking
• Supplier insolvency
• Weather
• Natural disasters
• Fire
• Flood
• Strikes
• Labor disputes
• Civil unrest
• War
• Terrorism
• Epidemics or pandemics
• Border closures
• Government action
• Security incidents
• Lost, delayed, or damaged baggage
• Traveler illness or injury
• Missed departures
• Failure to meet entry requirements
• Infrastructure disruptions
• Failures of third-party websites, payment systems, communications, or technology

Elsewhere may assist with reasonable coordination when circumstances change, subject to availability, the agreed scope, and any applicable additional fees.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Elsewhere will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost enjoyment, lost profits, loss of opportunity, or additional travel expense, arising from use of the website, travel services, supplier conduct, or circumstances outside Elsewhere’s reasonable control.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Elsewhere’s total liability for a claim arising directly from Elsewhere’s own services will not exceed the planning fees actually paid to Elsewhere for the specific engagement giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law, including liability arising from fraud, willful misconduct, or other non-waivable obligations.

Website content is provided for general informational purposes.

Nothing on the website constitutes legal, medical, financial, insurance, immigration, health, security, or governmental advice.

Travelers should consult appropriate authorities or qualified professionals for advice relating to their individual circumstances.

By using the website or engaging Elsewhere’s services, you consent to conducting business electronically.

Email approvals, electronic signatures, checkbox acceptances, electronic invoices, booking authorizations, and other electronic records may be used to document consent, approval, and authorization.

Electronic records and signatures may have the same legal effect as paper records and handwritten signatures.

Elsewhere may require an additional form of signature, identity verification, or authorization when appropriate.

Nothing on this website grants a license to use the Elsewhere name, wordmark, branding, or other protected materials.
